Huntington Settlement Services is an
attorney-owned title company which provides real estate closing services to
residential and commercial real estate buyers, seller and borrowers in Erie
County, Pennsylvania.
The company is owned by Michael G. Nelson,
Esquire, who operates the agency in connection with his law practice.
Attorney Nelson is a partner in the Erie Law Firm of Marsh Spaeder Baer Spaeder
& Schaaf, LLP
and has practiced law in the Erie area for 28 years. He has
been an agent/approved attorney with Lawyer's Title Insurance Corporation, now
Fidelity National Title Insurance,
since 1984 and has concentrated his legal practice in the area of real estate
law.
Transactions in real estate are complicated legal
matters, which requires significant analysis of all legal implications.
Most importantly, the attorney provides an opinion as the the quality of the
title. This opinion, by a qualified real estate attorney, provides the
